Merry Christmas (The Ordoño Way)

Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year. I know I'm late at posting these photos but wth, I'm still in the Christmas mood (and did I mention that THIS is my favorite holiday? :p) so let me show you how we do Christmas, the Ordoño way (through photos)! Enjoy!
Step 1: Prepare all the gifts to be bought at Lola's house. These are the gifts Mom and Dad bought us. The others were packed on a different bag hahaha!
Step 2:Prepare the camera (since your resident photographer, Tito Ed isn't around, you insist on taking his place with your trusty digicam lol)
Step 3: Take a family photo (with your matching red clothes hahahaha!) at your house.
Step 4: Go to Lola's house and start taking crazy photos with the whole clan.

In this case, take lots of photos!

Step 5: Take a photo of yourself beside the Christmas tree (and all the gifts haha!)
Step 6: If you had an unexpected occurrence (i.e., seeing your cousin 'kalbo' or something) in the family, make sure to take a photo of'/with it. Haha!

Step 7: Take a mandatory family photo with Lola. I just love this pic. Look at Keisha teaching Lola her pose! :)
Our family :)
We all look alike, noh? Haha!
Tito Boni's family. With pa-fierce Kuya Bonbon on the side hahahaha!
Tito Lino's family. The tallest cousins I have!

Step 8: Take a photo of Lola with her sons and daughter.
Step 9: Take a photo of Lola and her grandchildren

Lace lovers
Step 10: After all the picture-taking, time to give away all the gifts! That's ate Loreen, doing the calling while Jem takes the responsibility of being the Runner that night (also known as the Giver hahahahalol)
Baby John balancing all his gifts, haha!
Crazy picture. Look at all the derp faces! Lola's so cute!! Hahahahaha!
Baby John AGAIN with all his gifts.
Look what I got! Haha! Lol, it's actually a necklace and earrings set wrapped in a Colgate box. Hahahaha!
Lola with her boys showing off their Aeropostale backpacks. Look how happy she was with Kuya Bonbon's haircut hahahahaha!
Step 11: Bonding time!

Step 12 would have been "Go Skyping with our fambam in Kansas" but I didn't take any photos of that, hahaha! This is how we usually spend Christmas. Did I mention that this is the first Christmas without Lolo? And based on the photos, I think Lola had moved on. I'm happy she's happy. Lolo, wherever you are right now, we really miss you. It was really weird seeing "From Lola" not "From Lolo and Lola" on all the Christmas envelopes we received. I dunno. But we miss you. Don't worry, we're keeping Lola happy. Have fun having beer or something with God up there mehehe!

Prolly too late to ask this but, how did you guys spend Christmas?

xx, Lui!

Of Frappes and Future

Currently sipping my cream based Caramel frappuccino, I can't help but ponder about how 2012 flew so fast. As I sip and turn page after page of my overly abused BDJ planner, I can't help but think.... holy fck I passed Stat and HBO this year.

THIS YEAR!

It feels like years ago, since I last sat at my usual seat in GS-305, and listened to a TQM lecture. It feels like years ago since I took that dreaded, make-it-or-break-it Stat exam, scheduled the same day as my birthday. Hell, it feels like years ago since I last took a quiz/midterm exam/final exam and pass it! It feels like years ago since our "favorite" (insert sarcasm here) professor, Sir Soriano, last wrote that tagalog word (in bloody red ink!!) I accidentally said on my skinny arms. It feels like years ago since I choreographed that last class dance number on our Humanities presentation.

It all feels like years ago. Like it was a different chapter of a my life. A student. And surprisingly (I still can't believe I'm saying this) I miss it.

I miss all the mundane noise on our classroom, the petty fights, the "HOY 1N WAIT LANG" my friend/our class president would always say before class ends, the nonsensical chitchats my friends and I would have whenever the Professor's out. And yes, even the mind-boggling Thesis-ing and Feasibility study.

I miss my friends, the DUDES, who's been there for me through all the ups and downs I had. I miss the cheap dates Boyfriend and I used to go to, for almost everyday when I was still a Nagtahan kiddo. I miss our ice cream dates, I miss how he'd always wait for me since my class usually ends around 6PM.

I miss hanging out at the faculty room, chitchatting with our dearest professors. I miss the Execom bonding, the laugh/food trips, the kwentos. I miss the emergency meetings, working overnight for an event. I miss the tours, the places we all get to see since it's a course requirement.

I miss all of it. I miss being a student.

Well, technically, I still am. But this last semester is for our on-the-job trainig. And the more time I spend being a trainee, the more I realize how much I want to be a student; how much I want to be in my comfort zone.

Or maybe, just maybe, the future scares me just as much as it excites me.

Bloggers United 4

It's the most wonderful time of the year again! A few more hours and it's Christmas! Let me just do a quick blog post about my BU4 experience, hehehe. I know it's a bit late but wth, I am posting this anyway! :) Better late than never, right? :)

Blogger's United 4! :) Epic fail, coz' I actually won a free pass from Cheyser Pedregosa but I didn't see it until BU4's over. Oh well, that 50php entrance fee was worth it! I was a) able to buy A LOT of stuff b) able to meet my favorite bloggers AGAIN and c) I got to meet new friends, AGAIN! I swear, this is only my second time to attend BU but every time I do, I gain new friends!! All thanks to my awesome, BU-buddy-forever/twin, Jac! She has a lot of blogger friends and she got me introduced to them. Also, all the pictures here on my blog were taken by her! She's super awesome! Check out her blog, VogueEsprit to read all about her awesomeness! :)

Anyhoo, here are some of the photos from BU4! It was a tad bit sad that we didn't get to see Kryz Uy, Camille Co and Laureen Uy because we left the place early and, add to our dismay, THE Shay Mitchell of Pretty Little Liars went shopping on the second day of BU4!! :( But! Nevertheless, it was still an amazing shopping/bonding experience. I got to catch up with my twin and score awesome finds! Ugh I missed my twin sooo much!

This is what we normally do together: TAKE CRAZY PICTURES!!

I just love this girl to bits!! >:D< Twin, if you're reading this, you're prolly in Singapore already! Hihi I miss you, my shopping buddy/photographer/blogger/Docu boss, twin! :* Take care! (Garnier? haha!) I know how happy you are right now with everything that has happened in your life :"> I'm sooo happy for you! Hihihihi! Advance merry Christmas twin! :* >:D<

Now here are some of the photos from BU4! Enjoy!

With Aisa Ipac, also, one of the organizers. She's so kalog in person! Haha! Too bad Melai Entuna wasn't around. BU4 was just not the same without her. -.-

With Bea Benedicto! She's so pretty :)
Another pic! This time, with Jac's other blogger friend, Bestie Konisis.

With Lissa Kahayon. I scored a cute printed top on her booth! Hihihi!
With Verniece Enciso, the blogger who you could easily find on the first day of BU4 with her uber bright dress! She's so charming! :)
Ahhh! My favorite blogger!! Cheyser Pedregosa! Grabe, we really waited for her to get out of her booth since she's stuck with her readers who're rummaging through her pile of clothes! Hahaha!
Another favorite blogger, Vern Enciso (with her twin sister, Verniece, again) They look so cute!
The top I got from Lissa Kahayon's booth. Hahahaha! Put my hair up coz' it was too nakaka- Haggardo Versoza shopping  around!
